Book Synopsis

There’s a budding romance on Butler Mountain, but in the hornets’ nest known as the Abbott family, keeping a secret is no easy feat…
Colton Abbott and Lucy Mulvaney have a secret. Colton’s nosy siblings have begun to put the pieces together, but it’s not like Lucy to keep things from those closest to her—especially her best friend, Cameron, who recently moved to Vermont to live with her true love, Will. But Lucy isn’t about to tell Cam she’s having a fling…with Will’s brother.

Flitting between New York and Vermont is exhausting, so Lucy is looking forward to a long weekend with Colton at the Abbott family lake house in Burlington. Too bad Will and Cameron have the same idea, and once Colton and Lucy are caught red-handed (and red-faced), will their clandestine romance lose its appeal or will their secret beginnings be the start of something lasting?

Includes a bonus Green Mountain short story!

Loved this third entry in the series as well as the included short story. Enjoyed getting to know all the characters even more and I like how the author continues to weave key moments from previous main characters into the subsequent stories. I just bought book 4 and am on to that one now!

When a book can take you from laughter to tears to laughter, you just know it's a winner. Marie does such a good job of mingling "romance" with real life. I probably say this after every book of hers I read, but it was one of the best!
  • Fall in love all over again

With everyone in this series you just fall more I. Love with each character. I sooo love Marie Force books. There isn't a one I haven't read more than once, she is one of those authors you just preorder it the moment she announces it's there because you know you'll love it. If you haven't read her books yet you are missing out

This was my favorite book in the Green Mountain series so far! Colton and Lucy's story had a hold on me until they could figure out a way to be together. Marie does a great job yet again. She makes you feel like you know the characters personally. She makes you root for them. I love all of her books!

I have read almost everything Marie has written and this is just another shining example of why I love her books! Her characters are so real and relatable. How she keeps them and their personalities all straight is beyond my comprehension. I love the Abbott boys and their "magic wands"!!! Marie is very good at adding new characters (or developing ones that have only been mentioned in passing), the sky's the limit on when this series will end! I love how even though this book was dedicated to Colton and Lucy, there was still plenty of story involving other characters. Can't wait to see what happens with Hunter and Megan!!!
