He makes no claim to literary excellence, so you should find his plain sailor's English to be easily understood.

His poems are mainly for his family, and for masses of friends encountered around the world, many of whom will find themselves featured - but anyone is welcome to join in, because mature years have brought a modicom of wisdom for all ages.
