Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead Suspenseful, action-packed, and riveting. And romantic. Silver Shadows is the fifth book in the bloodlines series which comes after the Vampire Academy series. While there is detailed explanation of the various people, species, and locations and may be okay to stand alone, this is definitely better having read the preceding books. I don't understand bullies, and torture. And there is a lot of that in this book. I was very anxious to have Sydney rescued. It took too long. But the story was excellent. Yes a minor cliff hanger but it wasn't at a critical point so it's okay as this is an ongoing series.

Silver shadows is one of the best books in this series. Could not put down until finished. Awesome.

Absolutely awesome story. This Bloodlines series are all definite page turners. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of them. I highly recommend them.

This is the 1st thing I have loved enough to review. I adored this book and couldn't put it down. To see it so far down on iTunes list shocks me. This is by far my favorite series I have ever read. I loved how Richelle Mead alternated chapters between Sydney and Adrian. I hope she makes all the rest of them like this. Will be an agonizing long wait til the next one :(

Great book but, what an abrupt ending! No indication as to the next book? All of a sudden your thrown into the first novel of the Vampire Academy Series, which is also good but....it would've been nice to have a little more on the situation before ending the chapter.

Worst book of the series. You could completely skip the first half of the book and not miss a thing. Hopefully next one will be much better!!!!!
