I’ve read many books about mixology but none have been as comprehensive and entertaining as this. Any student of the craft should have this text within arm’s reach. Bravo!
  • Great cocktail reference for a beginner

Gave very thorough descriptions of cocktail mixing techniques with great pictures and examples as applied to classic cocktails. Also gave detailed general information on fruit and fruit juice preparation that could easily be used beyond making drinks. Only content missing in my assessment is that they did not specifically cover fundamentals of constructing drinks (e.g., what liquors/ingredients go together and why) which would have been helpful for a beginner. Overall, a quick read and something I am certain that I will refer back to regularly.
