In 1999 in the Los Rios region of southern Chile, orthopedic surgeon, devoted wife, and loving mother Dr. Mary Neal drowned in a kayak accident. Detailing her feelings and surroundings in heaven, her communication with angels, and her deep sense of sadness when she realized it wasn’t her time, Mary shares the captivating experience of her modern-day miracle.

Mary’s life has been forever changed by her newfound understanding of her purpose on earth, her awareness of God, her closer relationship with Jesus, and her personal spiritual journey suddenly enhanced by a first-hand experience in heaven. To Heaven and Back will reacquaint you with the hope, wonder, and promise of heaven, while enriching you own faith and walk with God.

This is a wonderful book that everyone should read. I found it hard to put down. On June 3, 1969, God revealed to me that Jesus is His Son. For months that was all I talked about. I recently wrote an e-book titled “He’s Here” and described the events in my life much as Dr Neal did. In her book she wrote that there are no words to describe true spiritual events in our lives and I agree with her one hundred percent. This would be a better world if everyone would read her book! What a beautiful book. Really shows how God works in mysterious ways. Gave me so much comfort and ease knowing we really are loved and God does have a plan for each of us.

Doubt heaven? This is your next read! I too experienced a near death trip to heaven and from this book and other near death stories, my faith is only built more. Yours will be too! There are so many similar reports in all visits to heaven that it can not be just a coincidence!

As a nurse, I witnessed so many faith-affirming incidents, and this book resonates with truth and inspiration. In my own family, I saw God and the Angels at work as relatives passed from this world to the next. As for giving too many medical details and other personal information, they serve to round out the story of a very interesting, vulnerable human being who doesn't have all the answers, but a wonderful perspective from her life. I read this several years ago, and plan to read it again. I have already recommended it to family and friends.

This is a wonderful book to read. I have learned a great deal. I also recognize that I have a personal relationship with Jesus. That he truly loves us just we're we are at in this life. My own adopted mother experience this in her own life when she was 13 years old herself. She died and went to heaven, she did not want to come to back to this world. However, God told her, that her life was not finish down here on earth. He wanted her to experience this so she could tell others that there is such a thing as heaven and God. Back here on her return to earth she was sadden because of the present of the Lord she experienced. She told me of her story and I believe it was truely for me. To let me know are spirit is doesn't stay with our bodies in the ground but goes to heaven if we choose that ourselves. I have done some bad things. I have a hard time forgiven myself because of what I have done. I know Jesus has forgiven me. I know his love. I just have a hard time forgiven myself. I'm harder on myself then I am on other people. If someone did or said things to me or about me or did something to me, I can for give them and love them. Never to bring that person any shame or guilt. However, when it comes to me it's so much harder. I wish I could die for my own sins instead of Jesus. That's where I feel guilty is because he gave his life for me and anyone that sins. I'm grateful that Jesus died for our sins because I don't know if we were really face to die for our own sins, how many of us would really do that. I'm feel guilty for a man that never sinned had to died for me. Therefore, I know I needed Jesus in my heart, otherwise his death was in vain. I love Jesus. I'm not perfect and people who know me knows I'm so far from perfect. But yet I love the Lord Jesus. I wish on this earth we could love and forgive and forget the sin of that thing that person did to us. That would be the only thing I would change if I was God. That humans could forgive and love that person and wouldn't be able to remmber the sin or hurt that other person caused from the conflict. That all of us would be able to love, the greatest of all is love. That would be the only thing I wish God would have done, was erased the memory of that sin or hurt from our minds that we could never remember that conflict from that other person or what the conflict we caused to others by our own sins. When we forgave them or they forgave us. We could forgive ourselves also. It would be gone from our memory forever to be forgotten. Amen By Melissa Ann (Clish) Storm

I bought this book because I am facing death, and while I believed in all she wrote before, it is comforting to be reminded of Gods love and grace when facing it. As promised, we all have Gods love. We only have to believe and except it with open heart.
