And you will be transported to a Barcelona most of us have never experienced. Such a well written story of friendship, family and Spain, more than fifty years ago. But I'm making it sound so silly, and this is not a silly book. It's very deep and moving, and I will read more by this author!

No need for a long review. Truly Zafon at his best. Captivating.

This was a quick, page turning read! After reading The Shadow of the Wind, I was excited to read another Zafon novel. I can't wait to read The Angel's Game next!

Having read the other 2 books of the saga this is for sure the most disappointing in terms of completion of the story. I guess the author needs to charge additional $12.99 for his next book in order to tells us how it ends. It feels like a scam.

If you liked Shadow of the Wind and The Angel's Game then grab a copy, a warm cup of coffee and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

I love the style of writing, and I relished the other 2 books in the series....my heart fell when I saw this book was half the length of the others. That being said....it closes some loops in the story line and it's a must read if you enjoyed the other two......but I so wanted more.......

As all the books Carlos Ruiz Zafon wrote, this one is once again a beautiful one ! Hard to put down once you start it ! Imagination, sensibility and beauty together with deep knowledge of history and a great love for Barcelona makes a really unique work of art from each of Carlos Ruiz Zafon's books.
