Keeping me guessing and on the edge of my seat so much I wasn't able to stop reading. I literally spent all day reading until the very end. Makes me crave for the final book to come out. I also love that she has interwound the religious story of Heaven, Hell, Earth, as well as the Angels of Light and Darkness with her own modern take. Beats every other vampire book I have read so far. Bravo, Melissa! However, I was also annoyed by all the grammatical errors in the ebook as I was reading.

To begin I have a terrible memory. I read dozens of books so in a series I do expect some repetition to put me back on track...I am a huge fan of the blue blood series but this book did nothing for me. It was a basic story telling experience. The author was not able to grasp my attn and dwindle my imagination. The book was short and hurried. Very predictable in nature.
  • Awesome Read yet AGAIN!

Melissa does yet another beautiful job pulling us into the world of the Blue Bloods! With beautiful detail she enables us to really delve into their world and BE a part of it! I am saddened to know that the series is ending with the next book but am eagerly awaiting the resolution to it all! Well Done once again to a brilliant writer!

I love the Blue Blood series! I pre-ordered this book and love it as much as the others. However, there are numerous grammatical errors in this book. Every few pages there is a word that should have been capitalized that isn't. Melissa de la Cruz needs to fire her editor and get a new one that has taken a 3rd grade English class and actually knows how to correct her work properly. For a best selling author, there were way too many mistakes. I counted at least 20 in the first 150 pages. One or two is forgivable but there are far too many for them to have missed. Please use a grammar check before releasing this to the public next time. The storyline is very well written though.
