  • App Very Slow-Has Lag Time-PLEASE FIX!

    I hope someone is reading these comments because this bible is awesome, and the glitches need to be fixed now. I am quite frustrated with the glitches in lag time it has every time you try to scroll or highlight or click on a note. I paid good money for it to work properly. I thought by now these problems would be fixed. Please help. I paid for a working app, not a defective one. Thanks.

    This app was 100% the best. But with this final update it removed a option to go back to the previous page or verse, unless this gets fixed this app is useless ease have it changed or I strongly rate this app a zero might as well stick to the old school paper back study bibles

    I have used this Bible a LOT but the last "upgrades" have ruined it! I now have old bookmarks that say "no title", link to nothing and I can't delete them. All of my hi-lights and notes have disappeared from the Bible text, and the links to those notes listed under "notes" sends me to unrelated passages. So all the time I have spent making notes is in vain and I'll have no way to tell which "notes" are new & working and which are old and useless. This is a mess! I'd love to be able to delete the entire Bible and download a new one free and start over.

    While I completly enjoy the ESV translation and we have a traditional copy, the features of this book do not function as stated in the “How to use” section. I addressed these concerns to Apple and after reloading the ebook, the issues still remain. They are refunding the purchase price which I feel is fair and the right thing to do. Had all of the indexing and referrencing features worked, this would have been an outstanding product - unfortunate.

    Don't know what happened, but has become incredibly slow to navigate and highlight. Love content, but something has gone wrong with the functionality under iOS 7. Have re-downloaded, but no better. Same issue on all apple devices. PLEASE FIX THIS!,,,,,

    What is soo nice about readint he MacArthur Study Bible in iBooks is that if you have your settings correctly set on your iPhone 4 & 5,etc. you can highlight the text and it will SPEAK out loud the TEXT. (Go to: SETTINGS on your: iPhone/iPad > go to GENERAL > ACCESSIBILITY > TURN ON SPEAK SELECTION > (make sure volume on your phone is on >SET the SPEAKING RATE to how fast or slow you want it.. (turtle is slow / theRabbit is fast) It is solo nice! I also make the text VERY SMALL so I can have the SPEAK SELECTION read more to me. // I also have the ESV in OliveTree(DOT)com’s APP but it will not do this TEXT to TALK thing… but it does it in iBooks… iBOOKS all the way! By the way the ESV version is waaay easier to navigate than the NKJV.. I have both and I would strongly recommend you get the ESV version if you have a choice for waaay better navigation as far as getting around in the Book on your phone & iPad. Hope this HELPS!     Having read this Bible, I find that I am unable to read any other Bible. Its wonderful to be able to read The Word and the explanations

    This is a great book, but every so often a glitch happens or the book crashes on my ipad and cannot be opened, so I have to delete it and re-download it from the itunes store so that it will function properly. This has happened to me about three times since i initially purchased the book about a month ago.
