Blackwood and Cussler have, once again, written a thought provoking adventure of the first order. This book, like Spartan Gold, makes you think. The action, while somewhat far-fetched at times, does keep you involved. The dialogue is most believable and the characters become part of your family, assuming of course that your last name is Fargo. But here, in the world of Grant and Clive, for a short time you are. This book is difficult to put down. Read it!

As with all his books though the various co-authors and story lines. This too is an excellent read

Just short of putting you to sleep. If you have weeds to pull or snow to shovel you'll have spent your time much more productive and even enjoyable.

Cussler's historical and archeological research is polished like always and is always enjoyable. The story, however, shows a predictable and almost sophomoric cadence which makes one shake his head repeatedly. I know it is a piece of adventure pulp fiction, but Cussler is starting to get sloppy.

The end of the book was the worst ever it leaves the reader wondering what the book was about. The plot did not seem to make much sense. The book did not give much back ground on the main characters or even what this whole story was about. I believe that the author took what would have been a good story and ruined it because of it's incompleteness.
