Brillant and moving! One of the best books that i have read!

This book brought me closer to my purpose.

This has been a go to reference book for me over the course of a quarter of my life. It helps me place in perspective the things that matter most. I read it without any predisposed thoughts and simply allowed myself to absorb what I capfuls to make myself a better person. I thanks Oprah for sharing her candid expression of how it has helped her.

I had high expectations for this book because it was referenced several times in Oprah's most recent book "What I Know For Sure." Unfortunately, this book did not measure up and was very boring and hard to get into. In addition, I did not like his strong spiritual beliefs expressed in the book. A more neutral approach would have allowed me to be more receptive to the information. Zukav should be thankful he was supported and promoted by such a powerhouse for so many years.

This book takes a harsh, narrow, legalistc, and negative approach to the concept of karma and souls. Zukav writes through the entire book as an expert or worse, even as if he has the Only Truth, just like so many other religious "experts" that many of us are trying to get away from. Like all religious books, there seems to be truth in this book, but buried in so much harsh, narrow dogma that in the end I can't recommend that anyone else read it. I really wanted to like it, because I highly respect Oprah. But the last thing our world needs is one more rigid religion. Save your money and read someone kinder and gentler like Brian Weiss or Eben Alexander.

Most inspiring words. You can feel the Love and Spiritual intent of the writer. I feel blessed and more connected to the Universe after having read these pages. It is worth every moment spent reading and absorbing its contents.

I read this book and my life changed in a major way. Opening myself and allowing my mind to look at life in a different perspective has brought new insight for me in this life.
