I highly recommend this book! It opened my eyes to turn to God on my darkest days. Every battle can be won in the name of Christ.

I read this book in 2 hours. I felt so understood while reading it. The tears flowed during and after reading it. What has been a lifetime struggle (panic/fear/anxiety) from my childhood into adulthood, I see the light at the end of the tunnel. My heart is encouraged! Thank you so much for your vulnerability and for putting your experience into words.

Every time I read “ This is when God becomes real” I repeated it back . I don’t think I’ve ever read a book about someone’s life where I deeply understood and connected to . Every chapter , story , and moment had me saying “ this is when God becomes real” . Freedom came !

I have to start by saying I’m a nearly 40 year old woman, and I’ve never read an entire book...until today. I couldn’t put the book down. I experienced the same nightmare in 2014, and God healed me the exact same way. It was as though I had written this book myself. It brought me to tears remembering the horrific ordeal I experienced for over a year, but this book was a beautiful reminder of what the Lord has done in me because of it. I wouldn’t trade the suffering for anything now! I’m so thankful Brian Johnson wrote this book, and I pray it will encourage many people to know there is hope in Jesus Christ... no matter how dark it or hopeless it seems!
