Lilia Moon continues with her great storytelling skills in this new trilogy. There is a conversation with a Fettered family member so there’s a tie in but you don’t have to read that series to read this new book; although it’s highly recommended to read the Fettered series! Twisted Strands is about rope master Matteo who makes the trip to meet the maker of the ropes he & others use in the Club. Liane’s ropes are superbly made & Matteo is sent to pick up an order from her shop. Matteo is drawn to show Liane what her beautiful ropes do in the hands of a rope master, which also enlightens Liane’s curiosity & research into this subject. Even with Trouble hanging out in the shop, over the next few days Liane & Matteo show each other depths/heights that they haven’t opened up to with others, creating a beautiful entwined strand of love between them. Great HEA story and looking forward to India’s story!

Twisted Strands is the first book in Lilia Moons new Handcrafted Trilogy and it blew me away. We met Matteo in the Fettered series and I was so happy to see him get his own story. Matteo and Liane were perfect for each other. There was this deep connection over there mutual love and respect for rope. The love scenes were unique snd some of the most sensuous I've ever read. I enjoyed watching as they both changed in ways that made their HEA possible. I received an advance reader copy.
  • What an emotion-filled story!

With a background of a small community where everybody knows everyone else, Twisted Strands explores the idea of a free-roaming man planting roots. Liane is a talented rope maker who’s created a ‘perfect’ niche for herself, with fellow artists and other friends. Her encounters with Matteo show her that something is lacking. Seeing these two working through their issues and enjoying learning about each other is enlightening. It quickly grows into a full blown romance...just the way I love it!
