This was so cute I don’t even know how to describe it. A goofy, no-one-is-worth-settling-down-for NHL player has a one night stand with his best girl friend and *poof*.... lives changed. I do agree with what Josh said though. Him and Holly would have fallin’ in love regardless of Lily! 🥰

Decidedly Off Limits was such a fun read that I thought the second book in this series would be a great choice. Somewhere between Decidedly Off Limits and Decidedly with Baby the author forgot how to write a cohesive story. I really liked the secondary characters, Holly and Josh, in the first book and was excited to read their story. In Decidedly with Baby, the author constantly breaks the fourth wall with her stylistic choices. Almost every thought each character has is prefaced with a question to the reader. Enough already! Tell the story! Very frustrating style choice and did not make for an easy read. It also tarnished the love story. I didn’t get a chance to fall in love with these characters and I didn’t “feel their spark.” I would absolutely recommend Decidedly Off Limits. I wish I would have stopped there.

Decidedly With Baby by Stina Lindenblatt is the second book in her latest series, By The Bay . This accidentally pregnancy trope novel is a mix of hilarity, vulnerability, and heat. Told in dual POV this book was well-written and well-paced and a pleasure to read! Josh Hoffer, hockey player has been building a platonic friendship with Holly for a while now. Both are aware of the other's attractiveness but just never went there. She is Trent's co-worker and he is Trent's best friend. Trent is the main character from the first book in this series, Decidedly Off Limits. When Holly received from devastating family news a night of drinks turns into a lot more including an agreement to be fake fiancees and to take a trip to Australia together. Josh and Holly's relationship evolves from there into something neither one of them ever expected. Emotional and also humorous, this book takes you on a roller coaster journey through the mine field of friends who have sex, who become fake fiancees and then get pregnant and fall in love. I adored this story. Hope you do too!

This is the second book in the By the Bay series but can be read as a standalone. This is a sports romance, friends to lovers, and surprise baby romance all rolled into one. It was such a sweet and hot read! I adored Josh! He was a no strings attached guy and he didn’t want marriage and children. Oh how life throws you for a loop! He was amazing from the start! He was this strong, sexy hockey player but he was so much more. He was sweet, attentive and supportive. He had me swooning throughout! Nothing better than a sexy man with a baby! Ovaries exploding! He is the perfect book boyfriend! Holly is in San Francisco from Australia to work. She is waiting to get her Green Card and her life is great. She has a great job, wonderful friends that she loves and she is away from her cold and distant parents. Her brothers are awesome and provided great entertainment throughout the book. She is career oriented and has no intention of getting married and have a family. Her parents were not the best role models. Imagine her surprise when she found out she was pregnant! She doubted her ability to be a loving mother. This fun, sexy, and sweet friends to lover’s story is just what I wanted. A light read that made me have those tingles and happy feels. Even though they both had a lot going on with their lives and careers, love won out! I highly recommend this sweet and spicy read!

I had so much fun reading this friends to lovers romance. It was hilarious, heartwarming, and very sexy! Josh and Holly met thru mutual friends and became fast friends themselves. They made each other laugh, liked the same movies and were both focused on their careers. Neither was ready to settle down making them perfect for each other. After a night of drinking too much, they acted on the attraction they both tried to deny. Unfortunately while drinking too much, Holly told her family she had a boyfriend to stop them from trying to set her up. Now in the light of day how will she deal with her impulsiveness. In steps Josh to save the day. What could go wrong when you try to deceive your family and yourself? I really liked both Josh & Holly and I loved them together. They had fun, their banter was witty and they had great chemistry! It wasn't an easy journey for them tho. One had an unstable job and the other wasn't a citizen, so their life could change rather quickly. But I was cheering for them all the way. I had so much fun reading this charming, exhilarating and steamy story. There were so many hilarious situations, heartwarming moments, and steamy, sexy moments as well. This story had it all, interesting characters, witty banter, and steamy love scenes, all in a multilayered story. I definitely recommend this book!

Really loved Josh and Holly's story. They were both such great strong characters and I enjoyed watching them change and grow as the story went on. Holly is career oriented and has no clue how to be a good mother. Her role models growing up were all nannies. Josh too is all about his career. He's a professional hockey player and on the road more than half the year. No time in there for a family. Sometimes though the best things in life are a surprise! Great story. Great characters. Great writing. Don't miss it. I highly recommend.
