Talons of Power (Wings of Fire #9)

I loved the second arc, but this book really fell flat to me. Maybe it’s because Turtle just wasn’t very interesting (he had the personality of a snail in my opinion), but it’s still not my favorite out of the series. And if you’re considering trying Wings of Fire, I highly recommend it if you like action, prophecies, drama (not over the top like a soap opera thankfully) and romance that’s not super cheesy, then definitely try it out! It’s good for anybody 10+, but it is might be little scary sometimes for younger kids, and there is some gore in it (like blood, murder, etc) but if you’ve read Harry Potter or the also-popular-series Warrior Cats, it’s just a small step up. There is some LGBTQ in the second arc and beyond, so if that bothers you then only read books 1-5. To Silvermoonlight: yeah, I don’t think Anemone would be as full of herself as she is now (which would be better for all concerned) but I’m also not sure how it would affect Turtle’s life :| ExhraDragonet: Qf Qibli, what would you do if Winter ever plotted against Queen Thorn? - Shimmer the rogue hybrid

Hello. And welcome back to another Wings of Fire WHAT IF?! My What If for today is… “What if Turtle never gave Anemone her powers?” I feel that Anemone might not be as bratty if she didn’t have her powers. She would definitely not think as highly of herself, which is something I would be ok with. I don’t have much to say about this WHAT IF. But if you guys have an opinion of this, pls say. Lavawings About: a tribe of dragons made of molten hot rock,and lava. we’re born from the ancient volcano that kept the old night wing queen alive, they rebuilt the volcano that used to belong to the Nightwings and had a home there Location: old nightwing volcano Queen: Queen Tectonic Appearance: dragons made of hot lava rock with lava flowing and visible through cracks of their scales, very sharp rocky claws, and eyes that glow of lava Powers: can manipulate lava, and can breathe lava through their mouth, they also can burn whomever touch’s them.
