Fast paced with lots of action, making it an enjoyable read. End of the " bad guy " a bit predictable, but well deserved.

Loved everyone of these Virgil Flowers sagas. He is my hero and nobody writes a nail biter like John Sanford.

Probably read about two dozen of the "Prey" and Flowers novels. This is the last. I'm finished with the liberal flavor of his writing. The liberties he takes with the Catholic faith in this book are the last straw.
  • Dragged

The sample was not good enough for me to pay for the book. It dragged, and the dialogue was thin.

John Sandford has another great book. His books have been terrific ever since 'Rules of Prey'. I can't wait to read the next one.

I love Virgil Flowers and Lucas Davenport. Two great characters created by the author. This book, however, left a taste behind like a spoiled peanut. Bitter! The storyline was so-so and I was totally turned off by the endangered species and how they were used in this book. Just. Not. Right.

I love all of John Sandford's books. This one was great. I can never stop until I finish the whole book.
